Lions in the Pamoja pride often have spots, some sort of head hood or a mix of both, this however isn’t always true due to the pride allowing outsiders to join its not unheard of for a cub to be born in the pride missing these features. Most pamoja born lions are darker in color with males having pale manes.

 

In the Pamoja pride cubs are not given names until they meet the pride for the first time, this is to allow time and thought to be put into cubs names, not long after getting there name they are put into training for climbing, cubs are allowed to play and be cubs up until they become teenagers.

 

They start training when they are teenagers, normally the prides majordomo chooses where they are needed it it rare for lions to change training but it has been known to happen ,they can train to be hunters or guards, other roles can be trained for but the lead of that role must invite them to train.

 

When a lion becomes a young adult they are given the choose to go wander, most young lions go and return , some never do return,finding new prides to join or other things. While the frist wandering pamoja lion was a prince it became tradition for most to not or only wander a short ways away from the pride.

 

Should a lion return they will be given a job in the role they trained for ,if the lion feels like they want to they can train to change roles.
